Cocktail Recipes

Pumpkin Spice Martini:

1 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz Bailey’s
1 1/2 oz pumpkin spice liqueur
dash of cinnamon and nutmeg

Combine the vodka, Bailey’s and pumpkin spice liqueur in a shaker with ice. Pour evenly between two martini glasses, and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top. Or pour it all into a single drinking glass and call it a “smoothie.” I won’t tell.

Hurricane:

1 oz white rum
1 oz Jamaican dark rum
1 oz Bacardi 151 rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice

Combine all ingredients, mix well by shaking. Pour over crushed ice in hurricane glass. Or a travel mug. Or any cylindrical vessel that will convey the delicious drink to your lips, with or without a straw. (In times of crisis – like when there’s a hurricane coming – it is important to be flexible.)

Farmer’s Cocktail

2 Dashes of Bitters
1 oz of Gin
0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth

Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass and serve. Drink instead of weeding like you are supposed to be doing.

  1. My favorite summer cocktail will use a few of your farm items:

    4 slices cucumber
    handful of mint
    1oz vodka or gin
    quarter of lime
    3oz of soda

muddle lime, cuke and mint together, add vodka and soda, shake with ice…. enjoy garnished with salted cucumber
